What or who are you attracting?

I find that lately I have been attracting people who say they want to make changes in their lives and yet the words they tend to use are like: I’m so stupid, I know that, I will try, I have been trying and many more low vibrating statements.

I believe that our words do not return void. What we say and especially the words we use about ourselves others are what we are sending out and everything we send out comes back to us without a doubt. The intentions behind these statements also plays the bigger part in these cycles.

When we change our words, we change our habits and when we change our habits, we change our lives.

Life is simple and yet we rather take the complicated ways of living, and the complications are all in our heads, because we try so hard to live up to our beliefs that are mainly adapted rather than what we made up for ourselves at very young ages, based on experiences that are mostly not true anyway.

More than one year ago, I was giving a testimonial on stage about my experience with a self development training I had done and by that testimonial, I was told that I’m a speaker right there and then and my first reaction was to deny it as fast as an involuntary action. That event brought back so many memories of me rejecting being seen at school. I was asked twice in two different schools, to be a prefect and how strongly I rejected those opportunities I never ended up going back to those schools for reasons so unrelated to them.

In conclusion, we do attract the people and situations in our lives, whether we choose to believe it or not. As Steve Jobs said “we can only connect the dots looking backwards”. So if we don’t reflect to see our lessons, we will continue to have the same experiences and attract the same people, situations and events until we learn from them.
